Ｉ　finally got my hands on the Fido Dido Spring/Summer 2010 catalog！


When the Fido Dido photoshoot was taken place, I couldn't take off work to be there. John, my parents went with the kids. I heard that there were a lot of Ooohs and Ahs when people saw Owen and Ella. The photographer just really loved them. They were very photogenic and were very cooperative.

Pilochi Moyoko's(莫優子) clothing catalog is out! The day that Ella did this photoshoot, it was 10 degree Celsius outdoors. And, you guessed it, this is was an outdoor photoshoot. Ella was a good sport and finished the photoshoot with her freezing to death. Her lips were almost purple even though we were trying to give her hot drinks, warmers in the shirts, and a thick jacket to wear during takes.

The kick-off meeting of DrupalCamp Taipei planning session went well. I had 7 people showed up. The updated plan has the new date and the volunteer committee head's name. I hope the event planning will go smoothly and we will have our first DrupalCamp in July!

今晚誰當家aired yesterday, March 19th. It was such an experience filming the show. The show was filmed on my birthday and it was also Ella's first TV appearance.

Finally, I got the first draft of the DruaplCamp today plan done yesterday. I have 6 volunteers so far that we need to start planning and organizing the event. The date is set for mid-May and I hope we will have enough time to get the show on the road. Here is the plan...

Ella is so creative. She loves to draw. She has so many imaginative ideas and she puts them on paper. She drew this picture one day and told her dad that "These are all balloons. It's funny!" When you look at it, you can't help but put a smile on your face. She drew her favorite teddy bear figures on the paper and made them all balloons!

I hear people say "Irregardless of the rain, I went to the market anyway" or "Irregardless of the cost, I bought the car anyway." And I always want to ask them, what does "irregardless" mean? If you look up this word in dictionary, it actually doesn't exist. The correct usage above should be "Regardless of the rain, I went to the market anyway" or "Regardless of the cost, I bought the car anyway."

After several months of deliberation, Owen decided he is going to learn guitar. So, we went to our first lesson the end of February. After his first lesson, he was about to give it up. He thought it was too hard.

What is the meaning of the word "thaw?" By definition, it is the action for something to defrost. So, what does "unthaw" mean? Yes, you guessed it, "unthaw" means to de-defrost. In another words, you are reversing the thawing action. So, can you unthaw a frozen chicken? Unless you just want it stay frozen, you can't really unthaw a frozen chicken.

What kind of environment do you think you would learn better? A stressful environment or a happy environment? A teacher who is breathing down your neck and yell at you or a teacher who is encouraging and help you out when you make mistakes?
