Last Friday, Ella came home and told her grandfather that she has won a gold metal. After talking with her, we were pleasantly surprised that her art work had won first prize in the school competition!
Every first grader in the school was supposed to submit 3 pieces of art work (they can work on them at home or at school) to school. Even though Ella didn't work on them at home, her art teacher selected three pieces of her work that she did during art classes. For first grade, there are two children's art works were selected for representing 康寧國小(KangNing Elementary School), both of them are from the same class!
I knew Ella loves drawing and she was always very good at it. However, I never knew how talented she is until now. I went to school on Monday to see her art ark since we need to select one piece out of her three winning pieces to compete in the Taipei City competition. I got a chance to see her work. Talking about a proud mom - I certainly am!
